GENERAL PURPOSE
The position is responsible for ensuring the overall safety and well-being of employees and assets within the facility. Ensure the safety and well-being of all employees and assets within the facility. You will be tasked with developing, implementing, and overseeing safety programs and protocols to prevent accidents, injuries, and fires. Your role involves implementing and overseeing safety programs, conducting inspections, and developing emergency response plans. By proactively identifying and mitigating potential risks, you contribute to create a secure work environment. Additionally, you'll collaborate with various departments to integrate safety practices and ensure compliance with regulatory standards. Your dedication to incident prevention and rapid response will play a crucial role in fostering a safe and secure workplace. Professional and efficient implementation of safety protocols as mandated by the International Standardization Organization as well as provisions of the governing authority and performing variety of complex administrative, technical and professional work in analyzing and administering various components of the environmental, health and safety programs are the key areas under your responsibility.

1. Risk Mitigation: Implement strategies to identify and reduce potential safety risks within the manufacturing facility.
2. Emergency Preparedness: Develop and maintain effective emergency response plans, ensuring all employees are adequately trained.
3. Training and Awareness: Conduct regular safety training sessions and awareness programs for employees.
4. Regulatory Compliance: Ensure the company's adherence to all local, state, and federal safety regulations.
5. Incident Investigation: Thoroughly investigate incidents, accidents, and near-misses, providing detailed reports and recommendations.
6. Equipment Maintenance: Oversee the maintenance and functionality of all safety equipment and systems.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Conduct regular safety inspections to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with safety standards.
Develop fire prevention program for all employees, implement emergency response plans and evacuation procedures.
Provide training to employees on fire safety, first aid and other relevant safety protocols.
Investigate incidents, accidents, and near-misses and prepare detailed reports with recommendations for improvement.
Ensure the availability and functionality of fire safety equipment, alarms, and extinguishers.
Collaborate with regulatory bodies to ensure compliance with local safety regulations.
Conduct risk assessments and develop strategies to mitigate potential risks.
Coordinate with various departments to integrate safety practices into daily operations.
Keep abreast of industry best practices and update safety policies accordingly.
Designs develop and conduct safety and environmental training programs and assists departments with specific training needs by locating and scheduling outside training activities.
Coordinates and conducts work area assessment, surveys, and program evaluations to determine the presence of hazardous conditions such as noise exposure, chemical exposure, indoor air quality, light levels, confined space and ventilation in paint booths among others and recommends departmental controls and/or personal protective equipment.
Performs broad analysis on hazardous conditions and assigns risk assessment codes for use by department to prioritize and for further corrective actions.
Implements and manages the company's environmental management system in accordance with the provisions of the government, which includes administering waste management contract and coordinating hazardous and universal waste management activities.
Works with administration of workers' compensation program to determine areas for increased training and emphasis on accident prevention. Provides statistical and fiscal data on workers' compensation injuries. Maintains complete and accurate record as required.
Prepare the Quality Action Plan and ensure that it addresses all the relevant measures to comply with standards, regulations and laws, including Health, Safety and Environmental aspects.
Maintaining the utmost confidentiality in dealing with employee records and business information.

Reduction in the number of workplace accidents and injuries.
Timely completion of safety training programs for employees.
Effective implementation of emergency response plans during drills and real incidents.
Compliance rate with safety regulations and standards.
Quick and efficient resolution of safety-related issues.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Diploma/Bachelor's degree in safety management or related field preferred.
Certificate in Occupational Health and Safety Administration or its equivalent.
At least 7+ years continuous experience in progressively responsible safety position.
Basic First Aid Training
Fire Prevention and Fire Fighting Training
Knowledge of ERP and Good Computer skills are required for this role
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: AED3,000.00 - AED4,000.00 per month
