HSE Officer

to ensure workplace safety and compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations. The ideal candidate will implement safety policies, conduct risk assessments, and promote a safe working environment for all employees.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement health, safety, and environmental policies in compliance with local regulations. Conduct regular risk assessments and safety audits to identify potential hazards. Monitor workplace safety and ensure adherence to safety protocols. Organize safety training and awareness programs for employees. Investigate incidents, accidents, and near-miss cases, providing reports and recommendations. Ensure proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and safety gear. Maintain records of safety inspections, compliance reports, and incident investigations. Collaborate with management to develop and improve safety procedures.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree or diploma in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field. Certification in NEBOSH, IOSH, or equivalent HSE qualification. 2+ years of experience in a similar role, preferably in logistics or construction. Strong knowledge of local HSE regulations and safety standards. Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills. Ability to conduct training sessions and promote a strong safety culture.
