Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Policy Implementation: Implement and enforce HSE policies, procedures, and guidelines in compliance with Dubai RTA regulations, local laws, and international standards.

Risk Assessment: Conduct regular risk assessments and hazard identification to identify potential safety and environmental risks. Develop mitigation strategies to eliminate or minimize these risks.

Safety Inspections: Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with safety standards, identify unsafe conditions or practices, and implement corrective actions as necessary.

Training and Awareness: Organize and conduct HSE training programs and workshops for project personnel to increase awareness and promote a culture of safety and environmental responsibility.

Incident Investigation: Lead investigations into incidents, accidents, near misses, and environmental spills. Analyze root causes and recommend preventive measures to avoid recurrence.

Emergency Preparedness: Develop and maintain emergency response plans and procedures. Conduct drills and exercises to test the effectiveness of emergency response protocols.

Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of HSE activities, including inspection reports, incident reports, training records, and environmental monitoring data. Prepare and submit periodic reports to management and regulatory authorities as required.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field.

Professional certifications such as NEBOSH, IOSH, or equivalent are highly desirable.

Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in HSE management, preferably in construction projects within the UAE, particularly in Dubai RTA projects.

In-depth knowledge of Dubai RTA regulations, UAE HSE laws, and international HSE standards.

Strong communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work effectively in a multicultural environment and collaborate with diverse teams.
