Job Description

Job Title: HEALTH AND SAFETY ENVIRONMENT OFFICER
Location: Abu Dhabi, UAE
Job Type: Full-Time
Experience: (5-10 years)
Industry: Contracting, MEP, Construction (MUST)
Education: Bachelor's Degree in Engineering

PREFERRED: With ADNOC Experience

1. Knowledge of ISO 14001:2015 EMS and OHSAS 18001:2007, and their implementation to comply with legal regulations and loss prevention.

2. Possess an in-depth understanding of various safety methods and proven abilities in coordinating and leading diverse teams and projects.

3. Carry out and organize related HSE training, induction, auditing, and inspections of all construction and logistics activities concerning HSE requirements.

4. Complete site safety management as per development authority requirements.

5. Organize toolbox meetings at the site to educate unskilled personnel about personal and site safety and its importance.

6. Review, assess, and prepare reports on on-site safety, fire safety, first aid, and welfare facilities, ensuring procedures related to the work are provided and properly maintained.

7. Monitor health and safety conditions and follow up at the site.

8. Assist in conducting site safety training related to construction.

9. Carry out accident and near-miss investigations and prepare reports.

10. Conduct emergency evacuation drills.
