Job Summary:
- Implement and monitor the HSE Management System's safety component. - Oversee and direct the company's Environment, Health, and Safety (EHS) Program. - Implement applicable HSE policies and procedures. - Monitor safety of plant construction or shutdown initiatives. - Conduct permit inspections and site audits. - Participate in meetings and assist in drafting and presenting TRA for client approval. - Monitor HSE aspects to mitigate potential risks in various activities including SIMOPS, hot work activities, lifting activities, pressure testing, scaffolding, painting, etc. - Collaborate with departments to formulate new project-specific HSE plans. - Ensure the Project HSE Plan is implemented on the job site. - Conduct daily site inspections to ensure policy compliance and direct execution of corrective actions. - Check that foremen and supervisors are executing the toolbox correctly. - Conduct routine inspection and maintenance of firefighting and safety equipment. - Act as an advisor on the field for all personnel and project-related issues. - Verify correct use of PPE daily and notify relevant personnel in case of an accident, incident or near miss. - Assist Site management and perform risk assessment for the firm's activity. - Implement the Permit to Work system and provide periodic reports. - Provide HSE orientation to new employees. - Maintain and provide HSE documentation and records. - Be familiar with Oil and Gas Industry practices, operate machinery, handle tools, and coordinate with multiple disciplines. - Possess a Diploma, NEBOSH General Certificate in Occupational Safety and Health, First aid training and proficiency in Microsoft Office. - Have a minimum of 6 years of onshore/offshore experience in HSE with at least 3 years' experience in construction, fabrication, installation, and/or commissioning projects/operations/production in the oil & gas or Petrochemical industries. - Have good command of English, physical strength to work in challenging conditions, and good hand-eye coordination.
