Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced HSE Manager to join our construction team in the UAE. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of health, safety, and environmental practices across all construction projects. This role requires a proactive leader with a strong background in HSE management within the construction industry.

Key Responsibilities:

• HSE Policy Development:
• Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive HSE policies and procedures in compliance with local regulations and company standards.
• Ensure all policies are communicated effectively to all employees and subcontractors.
• Risk Assessment and Management:
• Conduct regular risk assessments and hazard analyses to identify potential risks.
• Implement risk mitigation strategies and monitor their effectiveness.
• Compliance and Auditing:
• Ensure compliance with UAE HSE laws and regulations.
• Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure adherence to HSE standards and procedures.
• Prepare and submit necessary HSE reports to regulatory authorities.
• Incident Management:
• Lead investigations into accidents, incidents, and near misses.
• Develop and implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Maintain accurate records of all incidents and follow up on corrective actions.
• Training and Awareness:
• Develop and deliver HSE training programs for employees and subcontractors.
• Promote a culture of safety awareness and continuous improvement.
• Project HSE Management:
• Work closely with project managers and site teams to ensure HSE requirements are integrated into project plans and activities.
• Conduct site inspections and safety audits to monitor compliance.
• Emergency Preparedness:
• Develop and maintain emergency response plans.
• Coordinate emergency drills and ensure readiness for any HSE-related emergencies.
• Sustainability and Environmental Management:
• Implement environmental management practices to minimize the environmental impact of construction activities.
• Promote sustainability initiatives and practices within the organization.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in HSE management within the construction industry, preferably in the UAE.
• Strong knowledge of UAE HSE regulations and standards.
• Professional certification such as NEBOSH, IOSH, or equivalent.
• Proven track record of implementing HSE policies and procedures in construction projects.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficiency in HSE management software and tools.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED11,000.00 - AED13,000.00 per month
