The HSE Inspector will be responsible for conducting inspections and audits to ensure adherence to health, safety, and environmental regulations during night operations. This role involves identifying potential hazards, implementing safety measures, and promoting a culture of safety within the organization.JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Conduct thorough inspections of construction sites, facilities, and operations during night shifts to ensure compliance with HSE regulations and company policies.
Monitor and report on safety performance, identifying areas for improvement and recommending corrective actions.
Perform risk assessments and safety audits, documenting findings and ensuring timely resolution of issues.
Collaborate with project managers and teams to implement safety protocols and best practices.
Provide training and guidance to staff on HSE regulations, policies, and procedures.
Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses, preparing reports and recommending preventative measures.
Maintain accurate records of inspections, audits, and training activities.
Stay current with industry regulations, standards, and best practices in health, safety, and environmental management.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelors degree in Occupational Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in health, safety, and environmental inspection, preferably in an engineering or construction environment.
Knowledge of relevant health, safety, and environmental legislation and standards.
Certification in HSE (e.g., NEBOSH, OSHA) is preferred.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Willingness to work night shifts and respond to urgent safety issues as needed.
