HSE Field Supervisor

The Field HSE Supervisor will provide Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) support for field-based operations and construction activities in Oxy AD Block 3 & 5 from a holistic HSE perspective. Under the direction of the HSE Team Lead, the Field HSE Supervisor will focus on incident prevention, work-site contractor management, control of work (permit to work) and control of Simultaneous Operations (SIMOPS). As well as coordinate the overall effort to improve the HSE culture, compliance, and performance continuously.
The Field HSE Supervisor's responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
• Visible HSE leader working to promote and effectively implement a strong, positive HSE culture.
• Manages onboarding of personnel, contractors, subcontractors, and vendors at the site, ensuring all relevant HSE requirements are met prior to the start of work.
• Lead, coach, and mentor contractor HES personnel in proactive workforce engagement.
• Ensure compliance with PSPGs, ADNOC HSE Standards, HSEIA and EAD requirements via continuous HSE surveillance, audits, assessments, and inspections. Effectively track related corrective actions to closure.
• HSE focal point for PTW and SIMOPS oversight and overall effective implementation of safe systems of work (control of work)
• Ensure timely reporting of incidents and ensure investigations are carried out consistently per requirements.
• Liaise with Drilling/Operations/Commissioning/Construction personnel on any HSE-related issues.
• Actively lead, participate, and provide HSE input at daily briefs and other HSE meetings.
• Inspire safe behavior via on-site coaching and mentoring of BBS programs and stop work authority.
• Distributes daily HSE reports on behalf of locations and work groups and records details of HSE KPIs.
Leads tactical response to emergencies via implementation of established emergency response plans.

• Degree/Diploma in HSE/Occupational Health & Safety (OHS)
• Minimum 10 years of HSE experience, including 5 years of HSE experience in operations and construction.
• Experience in local and international Oil & Gas industry HSE standards, legislation and implementing HSE programs, PTW, SIMOPS & monitoring performance.
• Strong teamwork facilitation, with the ability to communicate and interact at all levels of the organization.
• Ability to lead incident investigations using root cause analysis (e.g., Taproot).
• Good PC skills, including MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Problem-solving skills and ability to develop practical solutions to identified problems.
