We are currently seeking a qualified HSE Engineer with ADNOC approval to join our team in Abu Dhabi. The HSE Engineer will play a crucial role in supporting the implementation of health, safety, and environmental programs, ensuring compliance with ADNOC regulations and standards.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist in the development, implementation, and maintenance of HSE management systems in accordance with ADNOC requirements.
• Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify potential hazards, assess risks, and ensure compliance with relevant HSE regulations and standards.
• Support project teams in conducting risk assessments, preparing method statements, and implementing appropriate control measures to mitigate risks.
• Participate in incident investigations, root cause analysis, and the development of corrective and preventive action plans to address HSE-related incidents and near misses.
• Provide technical guidance and support to operational teams on HSE-related matters, including safe work practices, emergency response procedures, and environmental protection measures.
• Monitor and track HSE performance indicators, compile statistical data, and prepare reports for management review and regulatory compliance.
• Assist in the coordination of HSE training programs, toolbox talks, and awareness campaigns to promote a culture of safety among employees and contractors.
• Collaborate with regulatory authorities, industry organizations, and stakeholders to stay abreast of new regulations, standards, and best practices in HSE management.
• Support the HSE Manager in driving continuous improvement initiatives to enhance HSE performance, efficiency, and effectiveness across the organization.
Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 5 -10 years of relevant experience in health, safety, and environmental management within the oil and gas industry.
• ADNOC HSE approval is mandatory.
• Knowledge of ADNOC regulations, standards, and requirements.
• Familiarity with risk assessment methodologies and HSE management systems (e.g., ISO 45001, OHSAS 18001).
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment.
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite and HSE management software.
