Job Overview:We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced HSE Engineer to join our team and oversee all Health, Safety, and Environmental aspects of our civil and building projects with a focus on substation and MEP work. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction safety and a thorough understanding of local and international safety regulations.Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in HSE management in the construction industry, with a focus on civil and building projects with substation and MEP involved in it
NEBOSH, IOSH, OSHA, ISO 901, 45001 or equivalent certification
Accident Investigation certification from 3rd party
ADNOC approval ad HSE Engineer will be add on
Strong knowledge of local and international HSE regulations and standards
- Proven ability to develop and implement HSE policies and procedures
- Experience in conducting safety training and incident investigations
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HSE software
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement HSE policies and procedures for civil and building projects with a focus on substation and MEP work
- Conduct regular site inspections to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with safety regulations
- Create and maintain project-specific safety plans and risk assessments
- Conduct safety training and orientation for all project personnel
- Investigate incidents and accidents, and develop corrective and preventive measures
- Ensure all safety equipment and personal protective equipment (PPE) are in good working condition and available for use
- Monitor and report on HSE performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions
- Liaise with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure compliance with HSE requirements
- Stay updated on relevant HSE regulations and industry best practices, and implement necessary changes to ensure compliance
- Promote a positive safety culture among all project personnel
