Conduct and/or participate in COMPANY safety audits for CONTRACTOR and Sub CONTRACTOR. Carry on risk assessment as directed by COMPANY Senior HSE Engineer. Review the contract documents for each Construction Package in respect of Safety requirements and procedures and advise the Project Manager of any deficiency. Review and comment to the Project Manager on SITE safety organizations and key personnel CV's as submitted by the CONTRACTORS. Review Safety Procedures as submitted by the CONTRACTORS and ensure implementation is in compliance with CONTRACT requirements. Review Inspection, Test, and Plans as submitted by the CONTRACTORS and ensure compliance with safety requirements. Ensure all activities on site are in compliance with safety procedures in respect of the format signed off by CONTRACTOR'S Safety Officer. Ensure CONTRACTOR'S safety staff are adequate on site and report to the Project Manager in case of deficiency. Review CONTRACTOR'S safety records and documents to ensure major construction equipment is maintained regularly. Ensure CONTRACTORS safety training for SITE laborers is regularly maintained. Ensure CONTRACTORS laborers on SITE are following safety procedures and report to Project Manager in case of deficiency. Closely monitor site activities on a daily basis, issuing non-compliance reports and submitting to the Project Manager. Participate in weekly meetings and monthly executive meetings. Coordinate with COMPANY Senior HSE Engineer to ensure that HSE policy is implemented by Contractors. Participate with PMC staff in reviewing and assessing of Closeout Report as submitted by CONTRACTOR. Carry out accident/incident investigation as directed by COMPANY Senior HSE Engineer and prepare the report accordingly. Desired Candidate Profile

Should be a qualified Engineer (BSc or higher). The Safety Engineer shall have a minimum of 8 years' experience in safety works in similar Projects out of a minimum of 12 requirements. Employment Type
