Job Title: HSE Engineer

•Overview:•

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment) Engineer to join our team in Abu Dhabi. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in building projects, particularly within the Abu Dhabi region, and will be responsible for ensuring compliance with safety regulations and promoting a culture of safety on all project sites.

•Key Responsibilities:•

1. •Health, Safety, and Environment Management:•

- Develop, implement, and maintain HSE policies and procedures in accordance with local regulations and industry standards.

- Conduct regular HSE inspections and audits on project sites to ensure compliance with safety standards.

2. •Risk Assessment and Mitigation:•

- Identify potential hazards and conduct thorough risk assessments.

- Implement appropriate measures to mitigate risks and prevent accidents.

3. •Training and Education:•

- Conduct HSE training sessions for all staff and subcontractors.

- Promote awareness of HSE practices and ensure all personnel are trained in emergency procedures.

4. •Incident Investigation:•

- Lead investigations into any incidents, accidents, or near-misses.

- Prepare detailed reports and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.

5. •Regulatory Compliance:•

- Ensure all projects comply with Abu Dhabi's HSE regulations and standards.

- Liaise with local authorities and regulatory bodies to stay updated on HSE requirements.

6. •Documentation and Reporting:•

- Maintain accurate records of all HSE activities, incidents, and inspections.

- Prepare and submit regular HSE performance reports to management.

7. •Emergency Preparedness:•

- Develop and implement emergency response plans.

- Conduct regular emergency drills and evaluate their effectiveness.

•Qualifications:•

- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related field.

- Minimum of 5 years of HSE experience in building projects, with a strong preference for candidates with prior experience in Abu Dhabi.

- In-depth knowledge of Abu Dhabi's HSE regulations and standards.

- Professional certifications in HSE (e.g., NEBOSH, IOSH) are highly desirable.

- Strong communication and leadership skills.

- Ability to work effectively in a team and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

- Proven track record of successfully managing HSE on building projects.

- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

- Strong organizational and time management skills.
