:Wood has been awarded a major project with ADNOC and, we are looking to hire a HSE Draftsman to be based at our Abu Dhabi Engineering Center.Responsibilities:
Knowledge of basic engineering processes
Familiarity with international codes, standards and engineering practices
Thorough knowledge of onshore/offshore design engineering for the oil, gas and water fields.
To provide designs and check to ensure they are accurate and in line with defined requirements.
Hands-on experience on the following HSE deliverables
Hazardous Area Classification Layouts
Fire & Gas Detector Layouts
Fire Protection and Life-saving Equipment layout
Passive Fire Proofing Layouts
Escape Route and Safety Sign Layouts
Piping & Instrumentation diagrams
Process Flow Diagrams
Coordinating with other centres / Safety Engineers for layout drafting
Coordinate / Liaise with Consultants, Clients, on all client-related changes and comments and ensure approvals and consequent incorporation in the design.
To support the Lead Engineer in completing design projects on time and within budget.
To provide support in agreeing on the project brief, establishing timelines, delegating tasks, and monitoring the project\'s progress.
Ensure design compliance in line with best practices, BU requirements and Company policies and procedures
To guide junior staff in design processes and technical matters
Monitor the performance of their team members to ensure the design\'s correctness, completeness, and compliance with the scope of work requirements.
Qualifications:
Diploma of Engineering (Preferable)
Minimum 5 years of Oil & Gas Design Experience.
Working experience in AUTOCAD and MicroStation
