SUMMARY OF THE ROLE
As an HSE Advisor, your role involves contributing to and advising on specialist HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment) matters within the company to ensure that Jotun operates safely and complies with current applicable regulations.
Responsibilities:
- Implement and uphold the company's HSE policies and procedures to ensure compliance with legal requirements and the Jotun HSEQ (Health, Safety, Environment & Quality) Management System.
- Support the implementation of the HSEQ management system through close collaboration with the Element Owners.
- Initiate and coordinate improvement projects in specialized areas such as fire safety, electrical installations, and compliance with environmental and legal standards to achieve tangible results.
- Maintain and improve the HSEQ and ISO system documentation, ensuring that audits and actions are carried out as necessary to maintain the company's accreditation to the standards.
- Responsible for conducting HSEQ (Health, Safety, Environment, and Quality) training to enhance employee awareness.WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR AND WHAT WE OFFERQualifications:
- Required, bachelor's degree in any field.
- Required NEBOSH/CSP (Certified Safety Professional) or equivalent Certification.
- Required, 4 to 6 years of relevant work experience within Paint/Chemical/Manufacturing industry.
