Job Overview

The Payroll/Attendance Officer, based at the Head Office, is responsible for the timely processing of payroll, managing attendance and leave records, and ensuring compliance with UAE labor laws. The role encompasses handling end-of-service benefits, full-and-final settlements, and maintaining payroll systems, including PACT and potentially Time Trax in the future. This position demands strong attention to detail, effective coordination with site staff for accurate attendance data, and the ability to address employee queries related to payroll, attendance, and settlements.

Key Responsibilities

• Collect, verify, and reconcile daily attendance and leave records from all sites.
• Maintain detailed records of employee attendance, leave balances, and approvals.
• Ensure proper documentation for employees going on leave, including approvals and leave balance updates.
• Timely & accurately Process payroll and ensure compliance with WPS and UAE labor laws.
• Handle end-of-service benefits and process full-and-final settlements for departing employees.
• Ensure proper documentation and approvals for payroll-related activities.
• Manage and update payroll systems, including PACT, and support future implementations like Time Trax (Cloud Based HR Solution).
• Address employee queries related to payroll, attendance, and leave management.
• Generate payroll and attendance reports/reconciliation for management review and audits, daily & monthly.
• Assist new employees with the C3/other bank account opening process for salary disbursements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, HR, or a related field.
• 3-5 years of experience in payroll and attendance management, preferably in the UAE.
• Proficiency in payroll systems such as PACT/Tally and Time Trax.
• Strong understanding of UAE labor laws and WPS requirements.
• Advanced skills in MS Excel and data reconciliation.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Contract length: 24 months

Pay: AED1.00 - AED1.50 per month
