Position Summary:
The HR Specialist Intern will support the HR department in various functions including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, and administrative tasks. This internship offers hands-on experience and an opportunity to develop key skills in a dynamic work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist in the recruitment process, including posting job openings, screening resumes, and scheduling interviews.
• Support the onboarding process by preparing new hire paperwork and coordinating orientation sessions.
• Maintain employee records and ensure data accuracy in HRIS (Human Resources Information System).
• Assist with employee engagement activities and events.
• Help develop and implement HR policies and procedures.
• Conduct research on HR best practices and contribute to various HR projects.
• Provide administrative support to the HR team as needed.
Qualifications:
• Currently pursuing a degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Strong interest in Human Resources and a desire to learn and grow in the field.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Previous internship or work experience in HR or a related field.
• Experience with HRIS or other HR-related software.
• Knowledge of labor laws and employment regulations.
