HR Specialist - Mandarin Speaker
Job Overview
As a Mandarin-speaking HR Specialist , you will facilitate communication and support between Mandarin-speaking employees and the HR team to ensure smooth HR operations, understanding of policies, and cultural alignment. You will play a key role in talent acquisition, employee engagement, and maintaining a positive workplace culture.
Key Responsibilities
• Recruitment and Onboarding : Source, screen, and recruit candidates, particularly those fluent in Mandarin, to meet the organization's hiring needs. Manage onboarding processes and ensure a smooth transition for new hires.
• Employee Relations : Serve as a liaison between Mandarin-speaking employees and the HR team to address concerns, resolve conflicts, and improve overall employee satisfaction.
• Performance Management : Assist in performance review processes, providing translation and support to ensure Mandarin-speaking employees understand feedback and goals.
• Policy Compliance : Communicate HR policies and procedures to Mandarin-speaking employees, ensuring compliance and alignment with local laws and company policies.
• Cultural Integration : Facilitate cultural integration initiatives and promote inclusivity, helping Mandarin-speaking employees adapt to and thrive in the organization.
• HR Administration : Manage and maintain accurate HR records, including employee files and data management in both English and Mandarin when necessary.
• Training and Development : Identify training needs and assist in the design and delivery of development programs, ensuring accessibility for Mandarin-speaking employees.
Key Qualifications
• Language Proficiency : Fluent in Mandarin and English (spoken and written) to effectively communicate with employees and HR staff.
• HR Experience : 2+ years of experience in human resources, preferably with exposure to recruitment, employee relations, and HR administration.
• Interpersonal Skills : Strong communication and problem-solving skills to manage diverse employee interactions.
• Cultural Sensitivity : Understanding of cultural nuances related to Mandarin-speaking employees to support effective integration and engagement.
• Education : Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Attention to Detail : High level of accuracy and organization for managing HR records and documentation.
