The HR Recruiter is responsible for managing the recruitment process from end to end, including sourcing, screening, and interviewing candidates to fill various positions within the organisation. This role requires a proactive approach to identify and attract top talent, ensure a positive candidate experience, and collaborate closely with hiring managers to meet the organization's staffing needs.
Key Responsibilities:
• Recruitment and Sourcing:
• Develop and execute effective recruitment strategies to attract qualified candidates.
• Utilise various sourcing methods, including job boards, social media, networking, and direct sourcing, to build a diverse talent pool for technical Roles
• Conduct market research to stay informed about industry trends and competitive hiring practices.
• Candidate Management:
• Review resumes and applications, screen candidates, and conduct initial phone or video interviews.
• Schedule and coordinate interviews between candidates and hiring managers.
• Provide timely feedback to candidates and keep them informed throughout the recruitment process.
• Collaboration:
• Partner with hiring managers to understand job requirements, team dynamics, and preferred candidate profiles.
• Advise and support hiring managers in developing job descriptions, interview questions, and selection criteria.
• Assist in creating and updating job postings to ensure they are clear, accurate, and attractive to potential candidates.
• Recruitment Metrics and Reporting:
• Track and report on key recruitment metrics such as time-to-fill, cost-per-hire, and candidate source effectiveness.
• Prepare and present regular reports on recruitment activities and progress to HR management.
• Candidate Experience:
• Ensure a positive and professional candidate experience from initial contact through on boarding.
• Address any candidate concerns or issues in a timely manner and provide constructive feedback.
• Compliance and Best Practices:
• Ensure compliance with all relevant employment laws and regulations.
• Stay updated on best practices in recruitment and HR to continually improve processes and outcomes.
• Additional Duties:
• Participate in HR projects and initiatives as needed.
• Attend career fairs, networking events, and other recruitment-related activities.
Qualifications:
• Education: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in recruitment or HR, with a proven track record of successful hires.
• Strong understanding of recruitment and selection processes.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to build and maintain relationships with candidates and hiring managers.
• Proficiency in using applicant tracking systems (ATS) and other recruitment tools.
• Strong organisational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Knowledge of employment laws and best practices.
