Job Title: HR Officer

Job Summary:
The HR Officer is responsible for handling day-to-day HR operations, ensuring compliance with labor laws, and supporting the business in managing its workforce efficiently. This role requires experience in the food and beverage industry , including employee relations, recruitment, training, payroll, and compliance with UAE labor laws. The HR Officer will work closely with department heads and store/restaurant managers to ensure HR processes align with business needs.
Key Responsibilities:1\. Recruitment & Onboarding:
• Manage the end-to-end recruitment process for restaurant, catering, and food production staff .
• Source, screen, and interview candidates for kitchen, service, delivery, and managerial roles .
• Conduct background checks, verify documents, and ensure all visas and work permits comply with UAE regulations.
• Oversee the onboarding process, including employee orientation, training schedules, and documentation .
2\. Employee Relations & Compliance:
• Act as the primary point of contact for employee grievances, disputes, and disciplinary actions .
• Ensure compliance with UAE labor laws, food safety regulations, and company HR policies .
• Support food handling and hygiene certifications for employees.
• Assist in resolving workplace conflicts and ensure a positive work environment .
• Maintain proper employee records, contracts, and legal documentation.
3\. Training & Development:
• Coordinate internal and external training for staff, including food safety, customer service, and soft skills development.
• Work with department managers to identify training needs and implement learning programs .
• Assist in performance management initiatives, including appraisals and feedback sessions .
4\. Payroll & Attendance Management:
• Oversee attendance tracking and shift scheduling for restaurant and catering employees.
• Assist in payroll processing, ensuring accurate salary disbursement, overtime calculations, and deductions .
• Handle leave management, including annual, sick, and emergency leaves.
5\. HR Administration & Reporting:
• Maintain accurate employee records and update HR databases.
• Prepare HR reports on staff turnover, recruitment, employee satisfaction, and labor cost analysis .
• Assist in developing HR policies and procedures tailored to the food and beverage industry.
• Manage employee benefits, health insurance, and other compensation-related matters.
6\. Health & Safety Compliance:
• Ensure all employees follow F&B industry safety and hygiene standards .
• Work with QHSE (Quality, Health, Safety, and Environment) teams to conduct safety audits and training .
• Implement well-being programs to promote a healthy workplace.
Qualifications & Requirements:Education & Experience:
• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field .
• 3\+ years of HR experience in the food and beverage industry (restaurants, catering, food manufacturing, or hospitality).
• Strong knowledge of UAE labor laws and visa processing .
Skills & Competencies:
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with employees at all levels.
• Strong understanding of recruitment, onboarding, and workforce planning in an F&B environment.
• Ability to handle employee relations and conflict resolution professionally.
• Proficiency in HR software (e.g., Odoo, SAP, Oracle, or other HRMS) .
• Strong knowledge of payroll processing, shift scheduling, and labor cost management .
• Detail-oriented, organized, and capable of handling multiple HR tasks simultaneously.
• Fluency in English; Arabic and other languages are a plus.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: AED3,500\.00 - AED4,000\.00 per month
