The Role
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced HR Officer to join our dynamic team in the oil and gas industry in Abu Dhabi, UAE. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in managing human resources functions, ensuring compliance with labor laws, and fostering a positive workplace culture. Responsibilities: - Manage the recruitment process by preparing job descriptions, posting job ads, screening resumes, and conducting interviews. - Oversee onboarding and orientation programs for new employees, ensuring a smooth transition into the company. - Administer employee benefits programs and address employee inquiries regarding benefits and compensation. - Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records and HR databases. - Ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations, providing guidance to management on HR-related issues. - Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures. - Support performance management processes, including goal setting, performance reviews, and employee development plans. - Facilitate training programs and workshops to enhance employee skills and knowledge. - Conduct employee engagement surveys and analyze results to recommend improvements. - Respond to employee relations issues and provide coaching and support to managers and staff as needed. - Collaborate with management to identify workforce planning needs and develop strategies to meet those needs. - Prepare and present HR metrics and reports to management, highlighting key trends and areas for improvement.
Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. - Minimum of 3 years of experience in a human resources role, preferably within the oil and gas industry. - Strong knowledge of UAE labor laws and regulations. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships at all levels of the organization. - Proficient in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint. - Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism. - Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines. - Problem-solving attitude with a proactive approach to addressing HR challenges. - Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. - Fluency in English is required; knowledge of Arabic is a plus.
