As an

HR Manager

in the construction industry, you will play a key role in managing the workforce, ensuring compliance with labor laws, and supporting the development of a positive and efficient work environment. You will be responsible for recruitment, training, performance management, and other HR-related functions across various construction sites and teams.

Key Responsibilities:



Recruitment & Staffing:

Manage the full recruitment lifecycle for construction roles, including project managers, site supervisors, engineers, laborers, and other specialized construction staff. Collaborate with project managers and department heads to understand staffing needs and ensure timely hiring of skilled workers. Maintain a pool of qualified candidates to quickly fill project-based roles as needed.

Employee Relations:

Serve as the main point of contact for employees, addressing concerns, grievances, and ensuring a positive work environment across the construction sites. Develop and implement strategies to enhance employee engagement and retention, especially in high-turnover construction roles. Support leadership in conflict resolution, discipline, and addressing performance issues in a fair and consistent manner.

Compliance & Safety:

Ensure compliance with labor laws, safety regulations, and industry standards, including OSHA and local health and safety requirements. Work with the safety officer to ensure all HR policies align with site safety programs and ensure that workers are informed and trained in safety procedures. Stay updated on the latest labor law changes affecting the construction industry and advise senior management accordingly.

Training & Development:

Develop and implement training programs to enhance employee skills, with a focus on safety, compliance, and technical competencies required for various construction roles. Coordinate onboarding for new hires and ensure they receive necessary training and certifications before starting work on-site. Promote career development and provide opportunities for advancement within the company.

Performance Management:

Oversee the performance evaluation process for all construction staff and support managers in setting performance goals, providing feedback, and identifying development opportunities. Implement programs to recognize top performers and encourage a culture of continuous improvement.

HR Administration:

Manage HR administrative duties, including payroll coordination, benefits administration, attendance tracking, and maintaining accurate employee records. Ensure proper documentation and record-keeping for all HR processes, including new hires, terminations, and safety certifications.

Strategic Planning:

Collaborate with senior management to develop HR strategies that align with the company's long-term goals and support project delivery. Provide insights and recommendations on workforce planning, employee productivity, and retention strategies.

Requirements:



Minimum of 5 years of experience in human resources, with at least 3 years in a construction or related industry. Strong knowledge of labor laws, safety regulations, and compliance issues in the construction sector. Proven experience in recruitment, employee relations, training, and performance management in a construction setting. Strong organizational, problem-solving, and conflict-resolution skills. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment with multiple projects. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact with employees at all levels. Proficient in HR software, MS Office, and other relevant tools.

Pay: AED4,500.00 - AED5,500.00 per month
