Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced HR MANAGER with a solid background in the oil and gas sector. The ideal candidate will be responsible for handling the HR functions such as recruitment, employee relations, and compliance with company policies and labor laws.
Job Responsibilities:
• 1. Recruitment and Staffing:
• Manage the recruitment and selection process, including job postings, candidate sourcing, interviews, and hiring.
2. Onboarding and Training:
• Oversee the onboarding process for new employees, ensuring they are well-integrated into the company.
• Develop training programs to enhance employees' skills and knowledge.
• Ensure compliance with training and development requirements, including mandatory programs.
3. Employee Relations:
• Act as a mediator in resolving conflicts between employees and management.
• Foster a positive work environment through employee engagement initiatives.
• Address grievances and disciplinary issues in a fair and consistent manner.
4. Performance Management:
• Design and implement performance appraisal systems to evaluate and improve employee performance.
• Monitor employee progress, provide feedback, and recommend performance improvement plans when necessary.
• Work with managers to ensure fair evaluations and rewards.
5. Compensation and Benefits:
• Develop and manage the company's compensation and benefits policies.
• Ensure that the compensation structure is competitive and aligns with industry standards.
• Administer employee benefits such as health insurance, retirement plans, and bonuses.
6. Compliance with Labor Laws:
• Ensure the company complies with local and national labor laws and regulations.
• Stay updated on legal changes and advise management on necessary updates to HR policies.
• Handle legal disputes related to employment when necessary.
7. HR Policies and Procedures:
• Develop, implement, and update HR policies and procedures in line with company goals.
• Ensure that policies such as attendance, leave management, and employee behavior are adhered to.
• Communicate HR policies effectively to employees and managers.
8. Employee Development and Succession Planning:
• Identify employees for leadership roles and create succession plans.
• Develop career paths for employees to encourage growth within the organization.
• Implement mentorship and leadership development programs.
9. Health and Safety:
• Ensure that the workplace complies with health and safety standards.
• Oversee the implementation of safety policies and procedures.
• Address health and safety concerns and promote wellness programs.
10. HR Data and Analytics:
• Maintain accurate employee records, including personal details, job roles, and performance data.
• Use HR analytics to inform decision-making related to workforce planning, employee retention, and performance.
• Provide reports to management on key HR metrics such as turnover rates, absenteeism, and employee satisfaction.
11. Employee Engagement and Retention:
• Implement strategies to improve employee satisfaction and retention.
• Conduct employee surveys and focus groups to assess morale and job satisfaction.
• Organize employee engagement activities such as team-building events, workshops, and recognition programs.
12. HR Strategy and Planning:
• Align HR strategies with the overall business goals and objectives.
• Work closely with senior management to forecast workforce needs and create plans for talent acquisition and management.
• Lead change management initiatives related to HR and organizational development.
• Develop and implement recruitment strategies to attract and retain talent.
• Work closely with department heads to understand staffing needs and fill vacancies.

Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in human resources management or related field.

• Knowledge of labor laws and regulations.
• Proficiency in HRIS software and Microsoft Office Suite.
