Job Summary: The HR Manager is responsible for managing the human resources department, ensuring the effective implementation of HR policies, and fostering a positive work environment. The role involves overseeing recruitment, employee relations, performance management, training and development, compliance with labor laws, and strategic HR planning to support business goals.Responsibilities
Maintains the work structure by updating job requirements and job descriptions for all positions.
Maintains organization staff by establishing a recruiting, testing, and interviewing program; counseling managers on candidate selection; conducting and analyzing exit interviews; recommending changes.
Ensures planning, monitoring, and appraisal of employee work results by training managers to coach and discipline employees; scheduling management conferences with employees; hearing and resolving employee grievances; counseling employees and supervisors.
Foster a positive workplace culture by addressing employee concerns and resolving conflicts.
Implement employee engagement initiatives to improve morale and productivity.
Manage employee grievances and disciplinary actions in accordance with company policies
Assess training needs and coordinate professional development programs.
Implement learning and development initiatives to enhance employee skills and knowledge.
Monitor the effectiveness of training programs and make necessary adjustments
Ensures legal compliance by monitoring and implementing applicable human resource federal and state requirements; conducting investigations; maintaining records; representing the organization at hearings.
Maintains management guidelines by preparing, updating, and recommending human resource policies and procedures.
Maintains human resource staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees.
Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with the company's goals.
Participate in organizational change initiatives and support leadership in managing change.
Maintains human resource staff job results by counseling and disciplining employees; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results.
Any other activities assigned by ED/CEO.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (Masters degree preferred).
5+ years of experience in HR management or related roles.
Strong knowledge of labor laws and HR best practices.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Proven leadership and team management abilities.
Proficiency in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
Strategic thinking and problem-solving skills.
