SynopsisThe HR Manager is responsible to oversee and manage the HR operations within HR Shared Services. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HR operations, with specific expertise in government relations, visa processing, insurance, payroll, performance credit system, general employee queries and offboarding. They will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of all HR processes and systems to support the company\'s overall goals and objectives.Accountabilities
Manage employee lifecycle administration, including government relations, visa processing, insurance, payroll, performance credit system, general employee queries and offboarding.
Oversee the end-to-end payroll process, including processing, ensuring accuracy of payroll data, and timely disbursement of payment in collaboration with the Payroll Manager and Finance teams.
Oversee the process of external approvals from the government authorities in relation to new joiners and existing employees.
Supervise the visa application process for employees requiring work permits, employment visas or renewals; and liaise with immigration authorities and legal counsel, as desired.
Enhance and implement a performance credit system to track and reward employee performance.
Lead and manage the HR operations team, providing guidance, support, and coaching as needed.
Respond to / delegate general employee queries as per the nature of the request.
Identify opportunities for process improvements and drive initiatives to optimize efficiency and enhance service quality.
Manage and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and service level agreements (SLAs) to ensure service excellence and continuous improvement.
Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) and ensure compliance with company policies and legal regulations.
Collaborate with HRIS and other technology partners to optimize system capabilities and drive automation to streamline HR processes.
Foster a collaborative and supportive work environment that encourages teamwork and professional growth.
Maintain a strong understanding of industry trends and best practices in HR operations and shared services delivery.
Education & Experience
Bachelor\'s Degree Level in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. Master\'s degree or CIPD qualification preferred.
10+ years\' experience of HR operations, with specific expertise in payroll management, government relations, visa processing, and performance management.
Prior experience of working in the Middle East business environment, ideally in the Government/ Semi-Government sectors
In-depth understanding of the key elements of HR operations (payroll management, government relations, visa processing, performance management)
Strong understanding of labor laws, regulations, and compliance requirements.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
Excellent spoken and written English communication.
