We are seeking an experienced HR Generalist with a strong background in employee relations to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the day-to-day HR operations, ensuring compliance with local and national regulations, and providing support to employees and managers on employee relations matters.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage the day-to-day HR operations, including recruitment, onboarding, benefits administration, performance management, and employee engagement
• Develop and implement HR policies and procedures that align with the company's overall goals and objectives
• Ensure compliance with local and national regulations regarding employment law, including equal opportunity employment, anti-discrimination, and workplace health and safety
• Provide guidance and support to employees and managers on employee relations matters, including conflict resolution, performance management, and disciplinary actions
• Conduct investigations into employee complaints, grievances, and allegations of harassment or discrimination, and recommend appropriate actions to management
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure effective communication and coordination of HR initiatives
• Manage the HR budget, including tracking expenses and making recommendations for cost-saving measures
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records, including personal information, employment contracts, and performance evaluations
• Prepare and submit relevant reports to management and government authorities as required
• Keep up-to-date with changes in HR regulations and best practices
Required Skills and Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in human resources management, business administration, or a related field
• 5+ years of experience in HR generalist role, with a focus on employee relations
• Strong knowledge of local employment laws and regulations
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with employees at all levels of the organization
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion
• Experience conducting investigations into employee complaints and allegations of harassment or discrimination
• Experience managing performance management processes and disciplinary actions
• Proficient in using HR software and Microsoft Office
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Fluency in English (both written and spoken)
• Professional certification in HR
