Job Description

Job Purpose:

The HR Executive is responsible for managing the day-to-day HR operations, including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, training, and policy implementation. The role focuses on supporting the organization by ensuring compliance with Sharjah Freezone rules and regulations, enhancing employee satisfaction, and contributing to a positive work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Recruitment & Onboarding:
• Manage the full recruitment cycle from job posting to candidate selection and onboarding.
• Conduct interviews and coordinate with department heads for shortlisting and final selection.
• Prepare employment contracts and ensure all new hire documentation is completed.
• Employee Relations:
• Act as a point of contact for employees on HR-related queries and issues.
• Manage employee grievances and disciplinary processes, ensuring alignment with company policies.
• Facilitate employee engagement activities to promote a positive workplace culture.
• HR Policy Implementation:
• Assist in developing and implementing HR policies and procedures.
• Ensure compliance with local labor laws and regulations, including the UAE labor law.
• Communicate policies to employees and provide guidance on their interpretation and application.
• Performance Management:
• Support the performance review process, including assisting with goal setting, monitoring, and feedback.
• Provide guidance to managers on performance improvement plans and employee development.
• Training & Development:
• Identify training needs and arrange for appropriate learning and development programs.
• Coordinate and track employee participation in training and evaluate its effectiveness.
• Payroll & Benefits Administration:
• Assist in processing payroll, including tracking attendance, overtime, and leave records.
• Manage employee benefits such as health insurance and other welfare schemes.
• Manpower Planning:
• Assist in the manpower planning process by monitoring staffing levels and supporting organizational growth plans.
• Maintain updated employee records and HR databases to ensure accurate reporting and decision-making.
• HR Compliance & Documentation:
• Maintain employee files, records, and HR databases in an organized and up-to-date manner.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in the workplace.
• Other Responsibilities:
• Support the HR Manager in preparing reports and presentations for management.
• Stay updated on best practices in HR and contribute to continuous process improvements.
• Perform any other duties as assigned by the HR Manager.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
• 5-10 years of experience in a similar HR role, preferably within a manufacturing, Free zone, or industrial environment.
• Knowledge of UAE labor laws and HR best practices.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
• Proficiency in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.

Work Conditions:

• Full-time position, based in Sharjah Freezone.
• Occasional travel to other company locations as required.
