About the role
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented HR Executive to manage various human resources functions, including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, performance management, and compliance. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of HR best practices, excellent interpersonal skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment.
Key Responsibilities
• Recruitment and Staffing:
• Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to attract top talent.
• Manage the full recruitment cycle, including job postings, resume screening, interviewing, and onboarding.
• Collaborate with department heads to understand hiring needs and create job descriptions.
• Onboarding and Training:
• Coordinate and conduct new employee orientations and training programs.
• Ensure new hires are smoothly integrated into the company culture and have the resources they need to succeed.
• Employee Relations:
• Act as a point of contact for employee inquiries and concerns.
• Provide employee with all documentation requests, maintain HR records and update the HR software in a timely manner.
• Performance Management:
• Assist in the implementation and completion of performance appraisal systems.
• Provide support to managers and employees in setting performance goals and conducting evaluations.
• HR Policies and Compliance:
• Maintain and update HR policies and procedures in compliance with legal regulations.
• Ensure company practices are in line with labor laws and employment standards.
• HR Data and Reporting:
• Maintain accurate HR records and employee files online, physical files where required and on the HR software.
• Generate HR reports and analyze data to support decision-making.
• Employee Engagement and Development:
• Plan and execute employee engagement initiatives and team-building activities.
• Identify opportunities for employee development and coordinate training programs.
Requirements
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in an HR role, preferably in a startup or fast-paced environment.
• Strong understanding of HR principles and practices.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Proficiency in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Preferred Skills:
• Experience with HRIS systems.
• Knowledge of employment law and best practices in UAE
