Our mission is to help our local community understand and protect themselves from risk both locally and globally.We are looking for a HR Business Partner with strong talent acquisition experience to join our team to play a key and hybrid role in our Middle East Team.The HR Business Partner will proactively support the Head of HR to execute strategies and support the achievement of business goals. He/she will be required to partner with various members of the Middle East business, provide an expert advice on a full range of HR and people strategy issues and initiatives, to determine the human capital requirements to deliver the business strategy and achieve shared organizational objectives.The HR Business Partner will also manage the local Talent Acquisition team and have an oversight on all recruitment-related matters. He/she will oversee the local recruiting services delivery including defining a front-line recruitment strategy, building a dynamic workforce plan, enhancing recruitment processes, and drive projects/initiatives to enhance the recruitment and onboarding experience.Job AccountabilitiesAs HR Business Partner, your role will involve:HR Business Partnering:
Strategic support for Head of HR and operate as the primary contact point and relationship manager for some business areas as assigned by the Head of HR.
Contribute to the development of HR Strategy, embed strategy and operational execution on overall HR function while implementing the business unit/functional HR agenda.
Partner with and provide guidance to people managers on employee lifecycle which includes disciplinary issues, selection, employee development, retention, benefits offerings, compensation philosophy, restructuring and organizational development needs.
Provide support in local HR projects and contribute to the development of HR processes
Data preparation and analysis to support executive meetings and reporting requirements, as required by the Head of HR
Support with adhoc HR tasks as required.
Provides leadership and direction for Talent Acquisition (i.e. recruitment process, systems, university engagement strategy and etc)
Develop, adapt and execute Talent Acquisition strategy to support local needs
Collaborate with Talent Management Lead to identify suitable opportunities and support talent brokerage exercise.
Manage recruitment and activity to ensure appropriate talent in the organization.
Partners with other Human Resource Business Partners to identify staffing gaps within the organization and recommend solutions.
Proactively build a pipeline of talent for critical areas through effective sourcing channels.
Drive and oversee the implementation local Talent Acquisition projects, such as project work, maintaining financial and progress forecasting in order to ensure projects are delivered according to schedule.
Continuously review and enhance the recruitment and onboarding process, with a view of the entire experience journey.
Lead the implementation of systems to support automation and digitalisation efforts
Implements and monitors Key Performance Indicators and operational metrics to ensure ongoing continuous improvement.
Advise and support hiring managers and employees in Talent Acquisition processes to ensure alignment across the organization.
Oversight of recruitment-related controls and adhering to internal controls in line with the Groups Risk Management, Compliance and Legal frameworks.
Supervise and quality-assure the drafting of recruitment-related policies to ensure full compliance to the Organizations rules and regulations.
Manages front line recruiting staff including objective setting, ongoing coaching and feedback, performance management, and compensation and rewards decisions.
Build and maintain strong relationships with universities, professional associations and supplier networks.
Oversees onboarding of new recruitment suppliers ensuring adherence to the Groups Third-Party Governance Framework
Work closely with other Human Resources functional areas to ensure a smooth onboarding processJob QualificationsTo be successful in this role, you will need:
Professional certification in Human Resources, e.g., PHR, GPHR, SPHR, CIPD or similar
Bachelors degree (or equivalent) in Human Resources and 6 or more years of experience in related field
Strong track record in recruiting at all levels, with primary focus on all levels excluding executive and critical talent pools.
Solid background in recruitment, talent management and/or HR business partnering
Strong focus on the employee/candidate experience journey
Effective communication skills and critical thinking skills
Strong stakeholder management skills
Solution-oriented
Strategic mindset and prior experience in dealing with change management
Knowledge of current local legislation, market trends and best practice relevant to the HR function
In-depth knowledge of HR policies and practices and HR systems as appropriate in scope of role
Proficient in English
Proficiency in Arabic language would be an advantage
Experience of working in a multi-national organization
An understanding of operational processes within the Insurance business would be an added advantage
Adaptability to changing environments
Ability to maintain confidentiality at all times
Understanding Microsoft Office and experience with HR systems
In-depth knowledge of tools, concepts, methodologies and techniques of business process reengineering, change management, performance metrics and measures, customer assessment, cost/benefit analysis, benchmarking, process mapping/simulation, data collecting.
Ability to support and manage a diverse functional team, setting objectives, reviewing performance and participating in selection/promotion decisions to ensure that staff have the necessary skills and understanding to deliver the team's objectives
