The role directly supports the HR Director and is accountable to act as a strategic partner and trusted advisor to the HR Director, leadership, and middle management, providing value-added services. The role will be responsible for aligning HR operational initiatives to meet business objectives and overseeing and managing the day-to-day operations of the HR function, DE&I, HSE, and government affairs activities. The individual will partner with key stakeholders to ensure HR processes and systems run smoothly and efficiently to support the overall business and strategic goals of the affiliate in the short and long term. The role includes optimizing processes and procedures to enhance employee experiences and organizational effectiveness and acting as a strategic business partner by providing operational advice, consultation, and partnering with management and the leadership team on people-related issues that are critical to achieving the business priorities and objectives for which business leaders are accountable (HR-related issues). This role works with subject matter experts in the wider HR team globally and regionally to ensure that the policies, programs, and plans best serve the needs of the business they support. The role will assess and anticipate HR-related needs proactively and seek to develop integrated solutions to support the business.

Main Accountability/Responsibility

HR Strategic Management:

Be a key HR resource for shared learning, process improvement, and identification and incorporation of HR best practices into affiliate processes, tools, resources, or guidance. Proactively maintain in-depth knowledge of legal, regulatory, and local labor law requirements and share with the HR Director as needed. Deliver cross-functional results on HR projects through people, utilizing project management, influence, and communication skills effectively. Lead strategic workforce planning to attract and retain top talents. Ensure that the team has identified critical organizational capabilities needed to execute the business strategy. Support any change agenda or change plan required for people-related changes needed to achieve long-range and business plan objectives, including critical organizational capabilities. Actively support the planning, development, and implementation of those changes. Conduct regular meetings with department heads/first-line leaders to understand HR business-related issues/challenges. Analyze trends and metrics in partnership with the wider HR community to develop business solutions, policies, and processes. Provide guidance and inputs on business activities considering HR elements and data analytics. Lead, in partnership with the HR Director, the diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives and objectives for the affiliate, aiming to enable and foster a work environment that promotes diversity, equity, and inclusion, where everyone can bring their true authentic self to work.

Recruitment & Talent Acquisition: Lead the recruitment process for designated business units, including developing job descriptions, sourcing candidates, conducting interviews, and making hiring recommendations. Partner with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and provide expert guidance on recruitment strategies. Utilize various sourcing methods to attract top talent, including job boards, social media, networking, and employee referrals. Manage relationships with external recruitment agencies and vendors. Oversee the onboarding process to ensure a smooth transition for new hires. Change Management: Lead and support change management initiatives to drive organizational effectiveness and employee engagement.

Employee Relations: Act as a single point of contact for employees and managers within the assigned business units. Manage and resolve complex employee relations issues, conducting effective, thorough, and objective investigations. Provide day-to-day performance management guidance to line management (e.g., coaching, counseling, career development, disciplinary actions).

Performance Management: Partner with business unit leaders to drive performance management and improvement initiatives. Support managers in the preparation and implementation of performance evaluations and development plans.

HR Metrics and Analysis: Analyze HR data and metrics to identify trends, provide insights, and recommend solutions to improve HR processes and business outcomes. Leverage data analytics to influence HR strategy to advance the business and provide key insights and forecasts to management.

Educational Qualifications

Core: Bachelor's degree of Business Administration or any equivalent major. Desirable: MBA or MSc in Human Resources field CIPD or equivalent qualification

Knowledge and Experience

Core: Minimum 5-7 years in HR or management level Proven experience working as an individual and team contributor Experience diagnosing complex problems and implementing appropriate solutions Demonstrated flexibility and comfort handling topics with ambiguity and complexity Desirable: Experience with multinational organization Skills

Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills Strong EQ and relationship-building High level of professional maturity, sensitivity to confidentiality, and integrity Strong interpersonal and communication skills Strong command of Microsoft Excel & PowerPoint Excellent command of English and Arabic language Strong planning and organization High learning agility and willingness to learn new skills Ability to work effectively and deliver results within a complex, changing environment Ability to influence without authority Ability to drive change and create a positive attitude Other Role Requirements
