Job Summary
The HR Assistant provides administrative support to the HR department and assists with the implementation of various HR programs and procedures. They play a key role in maintaining personnel records, coordinating HR processes, and ensuring compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
Responsibilities
1. Administrative Support
- Assist in the preparation of HR documents, reports, and correspondence.
- Maintain and update employee records and databases.
- Handle HR-related inquiries from employees and external parties.
2. Recruitment and Onboarding
- Assist in the recruitment process by posting job openings, scheduling interviews, and conducting initial candidate screenings.
- Coordinate new hire orientation and onboarding activities.
- Prepare and distribute employment contracts and related documentation.
3. Employee Relations
- Support employee relations activities, including handling employee grievances and maintaining confidentiality.
- Assist in organizing employee events and initiatives to foster a positive work environment.
4. Benefits Administration
- Support benefits enrollment processes and assist employees with benefits-related inquiries.
- Collaborate with HR team to administer employee wellness programs.
5. Compliance and Policy Implementation
- Ensure compliance with HR policies and procedures.
- Assist in the implementation of HR initiatives and programs.
6. Training and Development
- Coordinate training sessions and workshops for employees.
- Maintain training records and assist with employee development programs.
7. Payroll Support
- Assist with payroll processing tasks, including timekeeping and data entry.
- Collaborate with finance and payroll departments to resolve payroll-related issues.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and HRIS (Human Resources Information System) software.
- Basic knowledge of employment laws and regulations.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: AED3,000.00 - AED4,000.00 per month
Ability to commute/relocate:
• Al Quoz: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)
