The HR Assistant provides administrative support to the HR department, assists with the recruitment process, manages employee records, and ensures compliance with company policies and UAE labor laws. The HR Assistant plays a key role in maintaining an efficient and organized HR function. Key Responsibilities: Administrative Support: Assist with day-to-day operations of the HR functions and duties. Provide clerical and administrative support to HR executives. Handle incoming calls and correspondence related to HR matters. Recruitment and Onboarding: Assist in the recruitment process, including posting job advertisements, screening resumes, and scheduling interviews. Prepare and distribute employment contracts and new hire packets. Coordinate and conduct employee onboarding and orientation sessions. Employee Records Management: Maintain and update employee records (personal information, employment contracts, attendance, etc.) in HR databases. Ensure all employee records are accurate and up-to-date. Manage the filing and organization of HR documents. Payroll and Benefits Administration: Assist in the preparation of payroll by providing relevant data, such as absences, bonuses, and leaves. Support the administration of employee benefits programs, including health insurance, end-of-service benefits, and other perks. Employee Relations: Assist in addressing employee queries regarding HR policies, procedures, and benefits. Support the implementation of HR policies and procedures. Help organize and coordinate employee engagement activities and events. Compliance and Reporting: Ensure compliance with UAE labor laws and company policies. Prepare and submit required HR reports and documentation to management. Assist in the preparation of HR audits and compliance reviews. Training and Development: Coordinate and schedule training sessions and programs. Assist in maintaining training records and tracking employee progress. Qualifications and Skills: Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. Proven experience as an HR Assistant or in a similar administrative role. Knowledge of UAE labor laws and regulations. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Familiarity with HR software and databases. Excellent organizational and time-management skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Attention to detail and ability to handle confidential information. Additional Requirements: Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Flexibility to work extra hours if needed. Fluent in English (Arabic language skills can be an advantage).
