  • Act as trusted advisor providing strategic and day-to-day HR leadership, coaching and support.
  • Provide excellent HR advice, administrative support, and timely services to help implement people development and management initiatives, projects, and reporting activities across the company.
  • Enhance and refine the company\'s policies and operations related to human resources.
  • Offer guidance regarding the organization\'s overall HR policies.
  • Collaborate closely with management to implement impactful strategies for the organization.
  • Participate on global HR projects advocating for regional needs when applicable and as required.
Collaboration with Management:
  • Work closely with the management team to develop and implement strategies that positively impact the organization.
  • Develop leadership programs and annual training plans.
  • Create and refine performance appraisal processes.
  • Develop and update modern HR procedures.
Policy Development and Compliance:
  • Improve the company\'s HR policies and operations.
  • Help create and update rules for how the company manages its people.
  • Develop and update HR policies and procedures in line with current legislation.
  • Ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations.
  • Educate employees and managers on HR policies and procedures.
Employee Relations:
  • Provide guidance and support to managers and employees on HR-related issues.
  • Resolve employee conflicts and grievances in a fair and consistent manner.
  • Conduct investigations into employee complaints and recommend solutions.
Performance Management:
  • Advise managers on the implementation of performance appraisal processes.
  • Support employees and managers in setting performance goals and objectives.
  • Monitor and review performance management processes and suggest improvements.
Training and Development:
  • Identify training needs and support the development of training programs.
  • Coordinate and facilitate training sessions for employees.
  • Monitor the effectiveness of training programs and recommend improvements.
Benefits and Compensation:
  • Provide advice on employee benefits, compensation, and reward programs.
  • Assist in the administration of benefits programs.
  • Conduct salary benchmarking and recommend adjustments as necessary.
HR Reporting and Analytics:
  • Maintain accurate HR records and prepare regular reports on HR metrics.
  • Analyze HR data to identify trends and provide insights to management.
  • Use HR analytics to support decision-making and strategic planning.
Employee Engagement and Well-being:
  • Develop and implement initiatives to enhance employee engagement and well-being.
  • Conduct employee surveys and focus groups to gather feedback.
  • Promote a positive workplace culture and environment.
Change Management:
  • Support organizational change initiatives and projects.
  • Provide guidance on the HR implications of business changes.
  • Help employees navigate changes and ensure effective communication throughout the process.
HR Administration:
  • Manage employee records and HR documentation.
  • Ensure data accuracy and confidentiality.
  • Support day-to-day HR operations and administrative tasks.
Recruitment and Onboarding:
  • Assist in the recruitment process, candidate screening, interviewing, and selection.
  • Facilitate the onboarding process for new hires, ensuring they are integrated smoothly into the organization.
To qualify for this role, you must have:
  • A minimum of 15 to 20 years of experience with prior management experience.
Experience in multinational environmental and utilities companies.
  • Proven track record of devising and introducing new procedures and processes for newly established companies.
  • Experience in establishing an HR department from scratch.
  • Certification in various HR disciplines is preferable (e.g., CIPD, PHR, SPHR, GPHR).
  • Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in Business Administration, Human Resource Management, Economics, or a closely related field; a Master\xe2\x80\x99s degree is a plus.
  • Six Sigma - Green Belt is preferred.
