Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Housekeeping Supervisor to oversee the housekeeping operations for our holiday homes. The Housekeeping Supervisor will be responsible for ensuring cleanliness, orderliness, and overall guest satisfaction in our holiday homes. This role requires strong leadership skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage a team effectively. Responsibilities: - Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of the housekeeping team to ensure efficient and effective cleaning and maintenance of holiday homes. - Train, mentor, and motivate housekeeping staff to deliver high-quality service and maintain cleanliness standards. - Conduct regular inspections of holiday homes to ensure cleanliness, proper maintenance, and adherence to established standards. - Monitor inventory levels of cleaning supplies and equipment, and coordinate with the procurement team for timely replenishment. - Collaborate with the maintenance team to address any repair or maintenance issues in the holiday homes. - Respond promptly and effectively to guest requests or complaints related to housekeeping services. - Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) for housekeeping tasks to ensure consistency and efficiency. - Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback to housekeeping staff, recognizing and rewarding exceptional performance and addressing areas for improvement. - Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and maintain a safe working environment for the housekeeping team. - Collaborate with other departments, such as reservations and guest services, to ensure seamless guest experiences. Requirements: - Proven experience as a Housekeeping Supervisor or similar role in the hospitality industry, preferably in holiday homes or vacation rentals. - Strong knowledge of housekeeping procedures and best practices. - Excellent leadership and communication skills to effectively manage and motivate a diverse team. - Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards. - Ability to handle guest requests or complaints in a professional and timely manner. - Strong organizational and time management skills to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines. - Knowledge of health and safety regulations and the ability to enforce them. - Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and evenings as required. - Proficiency in using housekeeping management software or systems is a plus.
