Job Description

Job Summary: The Housekeeping Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of the hotel's housekeeping operations. This includes ensuring cleanliness, hygiene, and presentation standards are met or exceeded to provide a positive guest experience.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Staff Management: Recruit, train, and supervise housekeeping staff.
Schedule and assign duties to housekeeping personnel.
Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide feedback.

Quality Control: Inspect guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house areas to ensure cleanliness and adherence to hotel standards.
Implement and maintain quality control measures to achieve high standards of cleanliness.

Inventory and Supplies: Manage housekeeping supplies and equipment inventory.
Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely and cost-effective procurement of cleaning supplies.

Budget Management: Assist in developing the housekeeping department budget.
Monitor and control expenses to stay within budgetary guidelines.

Guest Satisfaction: Respond to guest complaints and concerns promptly and professionally.
Implement corrective actions to address guest feedback and improve service quality.

Training and Development: Provide ongoing training for housekeeping staff on cleaning procedures, safety protocols, and customer service.
Foster a culture of continuous improvement within the department.

Health and Safety Compliance: Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in all housekeeping activities.
Implement and enforce proper handling of cleaning chemicals and equipment.

Communication: Maintain open and effective communication with other hotel departments.
Attend regular meetings and coordinate with front office and maintenance teams.

Project Management: Oversee special projects, such as deep cleaning, renovations, or room refurbishments.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Contract length: 24 months

Pay: AED3,000.00 - AED4,000.00 per month
