The position is responsible to oversee and manage all aspects of housekeeping operations in guest rooms, suites, offices, and public areas.Key Responsibilities:
Oversee all aspects of housekeeping operations, while adhering to the highest standards of quality, hygiene, and safety
Develop, improve and/or implement housekeeping procedures and standards to maintain a clean, safe and organized surroundings
Perform regular inspections and ensure compliance with all health, safety, and sanitation regulations, while maintaining a clean and organized areas at all times
Manage costs, inventory, and procurement to optimize profitability and efficiency, without compromising on quality
Lead and inspire a team to deliver exceptional service and uphold MO standards of excellence, through training, mentoring, and performance management
Foster a culture of professionalism, collaboration creativity and continuous improvement among the team
Handle guest enquiries and complaints promptly and professionally
Cultivate relationships with guests, suppliers, stakeholders and industry partners to enhance the Hotel reputation and visibility
Qualifications and Requirements:
Minimum 5 years\' experience in housekeeping, with at least 2 years experience in supervisory/managerial role. Middle East experience, hotel pre-opening experience, and work experience in a luxury hotel environment is an advantage.
With High School Diploma or equivalent. Bachelor\'s degree in hospitality management or related field is preferred. Advanced certifications in housekeeping management are an asset.
Proficient in using housekeeping management software and other relevant tools (HotSOS, REx, and Alice)
With basic understanding of maintenance and repair tasks, in-depth knowledge of cleaning products, equipment and cleaning techniques, housekeeping practices, procedures and industry standards
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with guests, colleagues, and stakeholders at all levels.
Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
