This position demands keen attention to detail, physical endurance, and a dedication to maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness.
Thoroughly clean and sanitize assigned guest rooms, including making beds, dusting furniture, vacuuming carpets, and replenishing amenities.
Ensure all surfaces, fixtures, and furniture in guest rooms are spotless, free of dust, stains, and debris.
Maintain cleanliness in public areas such as hallways, lobbies, elevators, and common spaces.
Restock linens, towels, and guest amenities in both guest rooms and public areas.
Report any maintenance issues or damages in guest rooms or public areas to the appropriate department for swift resolution.
Follow standard operating procedures and safety protocols to maintain a clean and safe working environment.
Respond promptly and professionally to guest requests and inquiries.
Keep housekeeping carts, storage areas, and linen closets well-organized and clean.
Work closely with the housekeeping team to ensure efficient workflow and timely completion of tasks.
Adhere to hotel policies and procedures, including safety and security protocols, to ensure the well-being of both guests and employees.
Desired Skill & Expertise:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Proven experience in housekeeping or a similar role, preferably in a hotel or hospitality environment.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
Physical stamina and the ability to perform tasks that involve standing, walking, bending, and lifting.
Excellent time management skills and the ability to work efficiently within designated timeframes.
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends and holidays.
Knowledge of safety and sanitation standards and practices.
