Scope and general purpose of job:
To ensure that villas, public areas and when assigned Accomodation are cleaned and maintained according to the highest standards established with in the productivity limit in a shift. The Housekeeping attendant is directly responsible to ensure that villas for arrivals are prepared on time.
Qualifications :
4 years experience as a Housekeeping Attendant in a 5-star hotel
Has the ability to communicate effectively in English, Arabic knowledge is an advantage
Has strong will to work very flexible working hours and has the ability to work under pressure
Must have basic knowledge about cleaning, chemicals and equipment usage
Key Job Responsibilities :
1\. Report to duty on time.
2\. Sign for Attendance/ Keys/ Mobile & Collect Report.
3\. Attend departmental briefing ,take notes of Arrivals, priorities and special preferences and events of the day
4\. Preparation of Cleaning kit, Trolley and Pantry in the pantry area, ensure that extra pairs of PPE is there.
5\. Checks discrepancy of guest villas.
6\. Prepare trolley/caddy and equipment's.
7\. Entering the villa as per standard, ensure that gloves and mask are worn always while cleaning the villas.
8\. Draw curtains open in the guest villa for lighting.
9\. Prepare the toilet for cleaning by flushing the toilet, use chemical as per standard on toilet bowl, wash basin, bath and shower area for soaking.
10\. Collect all rubbish and check for any lost and found items.
11\. Check and report maintenance and carry out a visual check on standards.
12\. Collect all china, glasses and ashtrays to the sink in the pantry for cleaning.
13\. Remove all soiled linen from bed and bathroom.
14\. Bring in clean linen and make the bed.
15\. Clean china, glasses and ashtrays and place back in location & In Villa kitchen cleaning is also part of it. Kindly clean them in the designated pantry.
16\. Clean the toilet bowl area, vanity area, tub and shower stall. Pay attention to walls, floors and tiles (Sauna and Steam villas will be included for Royal suite).
17\. Replace bathroom linen and supplies.
18\. Clean bathroom floor.
19\. Clean villa furnishings - damp dust- high and low inside and outside as per procedure.
20\. Clean mirrors and artwork.
21\. Clean windows of any smudges.
22\. Replenish guest room supplies.
23\. Vacuum bedroom and bathroom floors.
24\. Mop bedroom and bathroom floors.
25\. Carrying out a final check of the whole room.
26\. Report villas cleaned using hotel procedure, switch off lights and close door.
27\. Places DND slip under the doors for DND Villas and Coordinates with housekeeping in charge.
28\. Handles Lost and found as per resort policy.
29\. Disposes trash from pantries & follows recycle standards.
30\. Does turn down service.
31\. Restocks pantries, Trolley and cleans all the equipment's at the end of shift.
32\. Follows hand over procedures of Key, mobiles, reports and guest preferences.
33\. Ensures that the housekeeping policies, systems, procedures and standards are followed on the floor.
34\. Ensure safety and hygiene standards are followed on the floor.
35\. Check all safety systems on a floor and ensure that any defect is reported to the floor supervisor in time.
36\. Liaise with the front desk for departure villas that need to be cleaned for arrivals.
37\. Liaise with the room service for the clearance of room service trays and trolleys from the service areas and they maintained clean and hygiene throughout the shift.
38\. Check the serviceability of all equipment in the allocated section.
39\. Reports all maintenance orders and follow up on completion of work order before releasing the villa/room.
40\. Assists in conducting physical inventory of cleaning equipment and master keys, chemicals, Linen, Guest supplies and various assets as scheduled.
41\. Assists Housekeeping in charge in special tasks such as stores set up, furniture movements, Periodic preventive cleaning etc.
42\. Carries out all the duties in compliance with resort policies and procedures.
43\. Is responsible to ensue servicing of guest villas are as per standards while ensuring utmost security and safety of the guest and their belongings.
44\. Any unusual activities to be reported to Supervisor in timely manner.
45\. Ensure that all beach areas are maintained in a clean and presentable condition at all times.
46\. Regularly clean and sanitize all sunbeds to provide a clean and comfortable experience for guests.
47\. Monitor the condition of sunbed covers and promptly replace or report any dirty covers to the supervisor.
48\. Inspect and report any damages or defects in recreational items such as sun beds, umbrellas, and floaters.
49\. Provide assistance and ensure guests follow safety guidelines and regulations while using recreational facilities.

Pay: AED1,200\.00 - AED1,300\.00 per month
