Scope and General Purpose of Job:
Provide a consistent room and bathroom product and service adjacent area that meet the hotel's standards for Cleanliness. Provides a cleaning service for public areas that meets the hotel's standards for cleanliness and presentation. Promotes the desired work culture around the values of Cristal Hotels and Resorts.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
Cleans and maintains guest rooms, guest corridors linen rooms and cupboards according to set standards and procedures.
Replenishes guest supplies.
Maintain stock supplies.
Report damage or malfunction in hotel rooms to superior.
Maintains a daily room checklist.
Reports and submits lost and found articles immediately.
Reports unusual behaviour/activities on floors to supervisor.
Carry out valet services when required including delivery of linen or processing laundry orders
Clean and maintain all hotel public areas according to set standards and procedures.
Ensure cleaning schedules are completed in a routine and timely manner.
Assist guests and escort them to locations within the hotel at their requests.
Ensure working knowledge of all hotel public areas.
Maintain stock levels.
Comply with hotel rules and regulations and provisions contained in the employment handbook.
Comply with company grooming and uniform standards.
Comply with timekeeping and attendance policies.
Actively participate in training and development programs and maximise opportunities for self development.
Contribute to Housekeeping Departmental Meetings
Customer Service
Demonstrate service attributes in accordance with industry expectations and company standards to include:-
Being attentive to guests
Accurately and promptly; understanding, anticipating and fulfilling guest requests
Maintain a high level of knowledge which will enhance the guest experience
Demonstrate a service attitude that exceeds expectations
Take appropriate action to resolve guest complaints
Appreciate the dynamic nature of the hotel industry and extend these service attributes to all internal customers by ensuring good inter-departmental relations.
Be able to promote the hotel products and services.
Maintain a high level of product and service knowledge about Cristal Salam Hotel.
Ensure known repeat guests, and other VIP's receive special attention
To display a pleasant manner and positive attitude at all times and to promote a good company image to guests and colleagues.
Health & Safety
Operate equipment using procedures learnt during training to company standards.
To report any equipment failures or problems to the Maintenance Department.
Demonstrate an understanding and an awareness of all policies and procedures relating to Health, Hygiene and Fire Life Safety
To play an active part in the fire investigation and fire fighting teams
To be vigilant in the workplace and report any signs of fire related issues
Familiarise yourself with emergency and evacuation procedures.
Ensure all security incidents, accidents and near misses are always logged in a timely manner and brought to the attention of your line manager.
To attend all mandatory training sessions selected by the Hotels Training Department
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: AED900.00 - AED1,000.00 per month
