Job Description

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Housekeeper/Maid to provide general housekeeping services for multiple clients, traveling from home to home. The position focuses on light cleaning tasks and occasional assistance with deep cleaning, without requiring heavy physical labor. The ideal candidate will have a good command of English, with Arabic language skills considered a plus.

Key Responsibilities:

• General Housekeeping:
• Clean and tidy living areas, including dusting, vacuuming, and wiping surfaces.
• Maintain cleanliness in kitchens by wiping counters, cleaning sinks, and tidying up dishes.
• Clean and sanitize bathrooms, ensuring all surfaces are spotless.
• Change bed linens, make beds, and arrange pillows and blankets neatly.
• Empty trash bins and ensure waste is disposed of properly.
• Organize items around the home, including straightening up living rooms, bedrooms, and hallways.
• Light Cleaning Support:
• Assist with light deep cleaning tasks such as wiping down windows, cleaning mirrors, and dusting furniture and shelves.
• Help with basic floor care, such as sweeping, mopping, or spot-cleaning.
• Assist in light organizing and decluttering tasks when needed.
• Occasional Deep Cleaning Assistance:
• Help with more thorough cleaning projects (such as cleaning behind furniture) but without requiring heavy lifting or hard physical labor.
• Support with tasks like cleaning baseboards, polishing furniture, or organizing closets and storage spaces.
• Other Tasks (as needed):
• Occasionally assist in laundry or light ironing if required.
• Help with maintaining overall tidiness in the home by following the homeowner's instructions.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Good knowledge of English is essential for clear communication and understanding of instructions.
• Arabic language skills are a plus and will be an added advantage when working with Arabic-speaking clients.
• Previous experience in home cleaning, housekeeping, or similar roles preferred but not required.
• Ability to handle cleaning tasks effectively with attention to detail.
• Comfortable working in different homes and following specific cleaning routines.
• Friendly, trustworthy, and respectful of clients' privacy.
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently.
• Strong time management and organizational skills.
• No heavy lifting or strenuous tasks required; the focus is on light cleaning work.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in basic deep cleaning tasks like washing windows, organizing storage, etc.
• Knowledge of eco-friendly cleaning products is a plus.
• Reliable transportation to travel between homes.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From AED1,100.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Ras al-Khaimah: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)

Experience:

• housekeeper: 2 years (Preferred)
