The Role
A housekeeper is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of a residence, ensuring that it is a comfortable and inviting environment for its occupants. Responsibilities: - Cleaning and organizing: The primary responsibility of a housekeeper is to clean and maintain the residence or hotel rooms. This includes dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and polishing all surfaces, as well as making beds, changing linens, and ensuring that the rooms are well-stocked with amenities. - Laundry and ironing: Housekeepers are often responsible for the laundry needs of the residents or guests, including washing, drying, ironing, and folding clothes and linens. - Restocking supplies: It is the housekeeper\'s responsibility to keep track of cleaning and household supplies and restock them as needed. This includes toiletries, cleaning products, and other essential items. - Maintaining inventory: Housekeepers may also be responsible for inventory management of household items such as linens, towels, and kitchen supplies. They may need to order new items when necessary. - Reporting maintenance issues: Housekeepers should be observant and report any maintenance issues or damages to the appropriate person in a timely manner. - Assisting with special tasks: Housekeepers may be asked to assist with special tasks such as organizing closets, packing and unpacking for trips, and running errands.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent - Prior experience in housekeeping or cleaning services - Knowledge of cleaning and sanitation products, techniques, and methods - Strong attention to detail and organizational skills - Ability to work independently and follow instructions - Good physical stamina and ability to lift and move heavy objects - Excellent communication and customer service skills - Flexibility to work weekends and holidays, if needed.
