Job Summary:
The House Manager will oversee the day-to-day operations of the CEO's household, ensuring the residence runs smoothly and efficiently. This role requires a highly organized, proactive individual with excellent communication skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks with attention to detail. The House Manager will manage household staff, coordinate with service providers, and assist in personal tasks to support the CEO's personal and professional life.
Key Responsibilities:
• Household Management:
• Oversee and manage all household operations.
• Ensure the residence is maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness and organization.
• Schedule and supervise maintenance, repairs, and renovations as needed.
• Manage household inventory and supplies.
• Staff Supervision:
• Create and maintain work schedules, ensuring coverage and efficient operation.
• Provide training, feedback, and performance evaluations for household staff if needed
• Administrative Duties:
• Manage household budgets, track expenses, and handle bill payments.
• Maintain accurate records of household activities and expenditures.
• Coordinate with external service providers and vendors.
• Personal Assistance:
• Collaborate with the CEO's Executive Assistant to align the schedules, appointments and help remind the CEO.
• Security and Confidentiality:
• Ensure the security and privacy of the CEO's residence and personal information.
• Implement and maintain security protocols and systems.
• Handle all matters with the utmost discretion and confidentiality.
Qualifications:
• Experience:
• Proven experience as a House Manager, Estate Manager, or in a similar role managing high-profile households.
• Experience managing household staff and vendors.
• Event planning and coordination experience.
• Skills:
• Exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Proficiency in using household management software and tools.
• Basic knowledge of household systems (plumbing, electrical, HVAC, etc.).
• Personal Attributes:
• Can speak and understand both English and Chinese language.
• Discreet, trustworthy, and able to handle confidential information.
• Proactive and able to anticipate the needs of the household and the CEO.
• High level of professionalism and integrity.
• Flexible and adaptable to changing needs and schedules.
Education:
• A degree in hospitality management, business administration, or a related field is preferred but not required.
Working Conditions:
• Schedule flexibility.
• Ability to respond to emergencies and urgent matters promptly.
