A housemaid in Dubai is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the employers home. Duties include cleaning, laundry, cooking, and other household tasks as required. The housemaid may also assist with childcare or eldercare, depending on the familys needs. Key Responsibilities: Cleaning: Clean and sanitize all rooms in the house, including bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchens, living rooms, and dining areas. Dust and polish furniture, fixtures, and fittings. Vacuum, sweep, and mop floors. Clean windows, mirrors, and other glass surfaces. Dispose of trash and manage recycling. Laundry: Wash, dry, fold, and iron clothes and linens. Organize and store laundry appropriately. Handle delicate fabrics and special laundry requirements. Cooking and Meal Preparation: Prepare meals according to the family's dietary preferences and requirements. Plan weekly menus and manage grocery shopping. Maintain a clean and organized kitchen, including washing dishes and sanitizing surfaces. Household Management: Keep track of household supplies and replenish as necessary. Organize and maintain closets, cupboards, and storage areas. Assist with packing and unpacking during travel or relocation. Childcare/Eldercare (if applicable): Assist with the daily routines of children, including feeding, bathing, dressing, and supervising activities. Provide companionship and care for elderly family members as needed. Ensure safety and well-being of children or elderly persons in the household. Miscellaneous Tasks: Run errands such as grocery shopping, picking up dry cleaning, and other household errands. Take care of household pets, including feeding, walking, and grooming (if applicable). Assist with special events or parties hosted by the family. Qualifications and Skills: Previous experience as a housemaid or in a similar role. Knowledge of cleaning products and equipment. Ability to cook and prepare meals. Good organizational and multitasking skills. Basic understanding of English (additional languages like Arabic can be an advantage). Physical stamina and the ability to perform manual tasks. Trustworthy and reliable with a strong work ethic. Ability to maintain confidentiality and respect privacy. Additional Requirements: Willingness to live in the employers home. Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as needed. Valid visa and health clearance (as per UAE regulations).
