As a Hotel Safety Officer, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of guests, staff, and facilities within the hotel premises. Conduct regular inspections of hotel facilities to identify potential hazards and risks. Ensure compliance with local safety regulations and standards. Conduct safety training and drills for hotel staff to promote a culture of safety. Respond promptly to emergencies and incidents, such as fires, accidents, or medical emergencies. Investigate accidents and incidents and prepare detailed reports. Coordinate with local authorities and emergency services as needed. Maintain accurate records of safety inspections, incidents, and training activities. Monitor security systems, including CCTV cameras and access control systems. Qualifications/Skills Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Hospitality Management, or a related field. Certification in safety management or related field preferred. Proven experience as a Safety Officer in a hotel or hospitality setting. Strong knowledge of safety regulations and standards. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to remain calm and composed in emergency situations. Attention to detail and analytical skills. Proficiency in MS Office suite. Education and Experience Requirements Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Hospitality Management, or related field. Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Safety Officer in a hotel or hospitality setting. Working Environments Office-based role, with regular inspections and patrols of hotel premises.
