An exciting role has arisen in the Security Department at Palma Beach Resort & Spa for a highly motivated and hardworking individual. The main purpose of this position is responsible for participating in the processes and activities required maintaining the security and safety of the Palma Beach Resort, colleagues and guests.

• To be the main point of contact in emergency situations.
• To follow the security policies and procedures at all times.
• To do foot and vehicle patrols.
• To escalate all concerns related to Fire and Life & Safety to more senior colleagues.
• To make necessary entries in the security logbook and ensure information is registered on a daily basis.
• To handle lost and found inquiries.
• To control the colleague and outside visitor access points.
• To issue supplier passes and control property removal by using the correct authorization receipts.
• To be responsible for controlling traffic movements by preventing extended parking time at critical locations within the hotel premises.

Qualifications :

• In order to be considered for this role you must have a Higher Secondary Education.
• At least 1 year of experience in security, preferable in the Hotel industry
• You must able to communicate effectively in English, Additional languages are desirable (especially Arabic)
• You will be approaching new tasks enthusiastically, thinking for self takes responsibility for his /her actions, and easily establishing and developing or maintains effective relationships.
• Ability to work well with others, including beach and pool staff, and to maintain a positive and professional demeanor at all times.

Working Conditions:

• This position requires working outdoors in various weather conditions, including sun, wind, and occasional rain.
• Shifts may include weekends, holidays, and evenings. Flexibility is required.

Pay: AED1,100.00 - AED1,200.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Umm al-Quwain City: Reliably commute or willing to relocate with an employer-provided relocation package (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• Security guard certification/license (Preferred)
