We are currently seeking an experienced and dedicated
Hotel/Resort Manager
or
General Manager
for a prestigious resort in Al Ain, on behalf of one of our clients. In this pivotal leadership role, the successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the property, ensuring the highest standards of guest satisfaction, operational efficiency, and profitability. This role requires strong organizational, financial, and management skills, along with a deep understanding of the hospitality industry.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Operational Management:
Oversee all daily operations of the hotel or resort, ensuring exceptional service quality and guest satisfaction across all departments, including front office, housekeeping, food & beverage, and maintenance.
Collaborate with department heads to ensure smooth and efficient operations, setting and meeting operational targets.
Develop and implement operational policies and procedures in line with the brand's standards and guest expectations.
2. Staff Leadership and Development:
Lead, motivate, and manage department heads and staff, fostering a positive work culture and teamwork.
Conduct regular performance evaluations, provide constructive feedback, and address employee-related issues.
Oversee staff training programs and professional development initiatives to ensure high service standards and operational efficiency.
Manage recruitment, onboarding, and employee retention efforts for all hotel/resort positions.
3. Financial Management:
Develop and manage the resort's budget, ensuring financial objectives and profitability targets are achieved.
Oversee revenue management strategies (pricing, booking systems, promotions) to maximize revenue generation and occupancy.
Monitor and control operational costs, ensuring that expenses remain within budget while optimizing resource utilization.
Prepare financial reports, analyze performance metrics, and take corrective actions as needed to enhance financial outcomes.
Ensure timely and accurate billing and payment processes.
4. Guest Experience & Satisfaction:
Ensure every guest interaction is handled with professionalism and excellence, delivering exceptional service.
Address guest complaints and concerns promptly to ensure satisfaction and loyalty.
Oversee quality control of guest accommodations, amenities, and services, ensuring consistent positive guest experiences.
Implement guest satisfaction surveys and use feedback to improve service standards.
5. Marketing & Sales:
Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to develop and execute targeted marketing strategies.
Work closely with sales teams to identify new revenue opportunities, special offers, and packages to attract and retain guests.
Enhance the property's online presence, manage reviews on travel platforms, and foster relationships with local businesses, travel agencies, and corporate clients.
6. Property Maintenance & Safety:
Ensure the resort is maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness, safety, and upkeep.
Work with maintenance and housekeeping to address repairs, issues, and special requests promptly.
Ensure compliance with local health and safety regulations, including fire safety, emergency protocols, and environmental sustainability.
Oversee risk management practices, including insurance and security.
7. Strategic Planning & Reporting:
Work closely with senior leadership and ownership to set long-term goals and define strategies for growth.
Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and guest feedback to continuously improve the resort's offerings.
Prepare and present detailed reports on performance, guest satisfaction, financial performance, and operational goals to senior management.
Qualifications:
Education:
A Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
Experience:
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in hotel/resort management, including at least 2-3 years in a senior leadership role (e.g., Assistant Manager, Operations Manager,Manager).
Experience Managing:
A hotel or resort with multiple departments (front office, F&B, housekeeping, maintenance, etc.).
Skills:
Proven ability to drive revenue growth, improve guest satisfaction, and lead a team effectively.
Knowledge:
Familiarity with hospitality industry standards, best practices, and local regulations.
Salary:
AED 7,000 to AED 8,000 per month
