Greet guests with a warm and professional demeanor.
Escort guests to their tables and present menus.
Manage and coordinate table reservations efficiently.
Maintain an organized and accurate seating plan to optimize table turnover.
Handle special guest requests, including VIPs and personalized dining preferences.
Reservation & Communication:
Manage reservations via phone, email, and online booking platforms.
Confirm and follow up on reservations to ensure smooth operations.
Communicate effectively with the restaurant team regarding guest preferences, dietary restrictions, or special occasions.
Customer Service & Hospitality:
Provide guests with information about the menu, restaurant specialties, and promotions.
Assist in handling guest complaints professionally and escalate issues when necessary.
Maintain a high level of personal grooming and adhere to hotel uniform standards.
Uphold the five-star hospitality standards of the hotel by delivering an exceptional guest experience.
Administrative & Organizational Tasks:
Keep the reception area clean, organized, and welcoming.
Maintain and update guest records for future reference.
Support the restaurant team in daily operations when needed.
Follow health, safety, and hygiene regulations as per hotel policies.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent (a hospitality degree is a plus).
Previous experience as a hostess in a luxury restaurant or five-star hotel is preferred.
Knowledge of reservation systems (e.g., OpenTable, ResDiary) is an advantage.
