RESTAURANT HOSTESS

Our client, a family of unique food concepts that are built on sustainability and delicate culinary excellence who operate premium international brands including FERDI, Philippe Chow, Beef Bar, Novikov, and more, apart from amazing local brands well known for their authenticity and original Kuwaiti taste, is looking for energetic and dynamic Hostess to join their team. As the first point of contact for the guests, you will be responsible for providing a warm and welcoming atmosphere, ensuring that guests feel comfortable and well taken care of. This position requires a candidate who is fluent in English (French is a plus) and is exceptionally well-groomed and well-spoken.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Greeting guests as they arrive and ensuring that they are seated in a timely manner.

Taking reservations and managing the waitlist.

Providing menus and answering any questions that guests may have about the menu.

Escorting guests to their table and presenting them with menus.

Making recommendations on food and drink options.

Ensuring that tables are properly set up and that the dining area is clean and tidy.

Handling guest complaints and resolving any issues that may arise.

Coordinating with other staff members, including servers and kitchen staff, to ensure that guests receive prompt and courteous service.

Assisting with other tasks as needed, including answering phones and taking orders.

QUALIFICATIONS:

A minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role.

Very good English communication skills (French is a plus).

Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.

Well-groomed and well-spoken, with a professional demeanor.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude.

Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think on your feet.

Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
