Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic and welcoming Hostess to join our team, with a preference for candidates from Algeria, Morocco, or Russia. As a Hostess, you will be responsible for creating a positive first impression for our guests and ensuring exceptional customer service in our establishment.

Responsibilities:

Greeting Guests: Welcome guests as they arrive at the establishment with warmth and professionalism. Escort guests to their tables and provide them with menus.

Seating Arrangements: Manage the seating arrangements to optimize table turnover and accommodate reservations. Coordinate with the serving staff to ensure efficient seating and service.

Reservation Management: Handle incoming reservation requests via phone, email, or in-person. Maintain an organized reservation book and confirm reservations with guests as needed.

Customer Service: Provide attentive and courteous service to guests throughout their dining experience. Address any inquiries, special requests, or concerns promptly and effectively.

Communication: Communicate effectively with the serving staff, kitchen team, and management to ensure smooth operations and guest satisfaction. Relay special requests and dietary restrictions to the appropriate personnel.

Upselling: Promote additional menu items, specials, or promotions to guests to enhance their dining experience and increase sales. Provide recommendations and suggestive selling when appropriate.

Cleanliness and Presentation: Maintain cleanliness and tidiness in the hostess station and reception area. Ensure that menus, signage, and promotional materials are well-presented and up-to-date.

Teamwork: Collaborate with fellow team members to create a positive work environment and deliver seamless service to guests. Assist with other tasks as needed during peak periods or special events.

Requirements

Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in a restaurant, hotel, or hospitality environment.

Friendly and outgoing personality with excellent interpersonal skills.

Fluent in Arabic, French, English, or Russian, with proficiency in additional languages considered a plus.

Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Professional appearance and demeanor, with a neat and well-groomed appearance.

Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.

Knowledge of basic computer applications and reservation systems preferred.
