Today, we\'re driving the energy transition with more than 30,000 of the brightest minds across 54 countries.Here, what you do matters.Job Overview:Hook-up Engineer with 6+ years of experience with a major contractor with involvement in brownfield and greenfield offshore hook up activities on high CAPEX projects.Responsibilities:Key Tasks and Responsibilities:
  • Participation and field guidance for pre-engineering and pre-construction surveys
  • Reviews drawings for constructability and identifies any specific issues and coordinates resolution
  • Reviews & formulize discipline scope of work, schedules and specifications. Understands the requirements and deliverable requirements
  • Reviews the material requisitions in compliance with project specifications prior to order
  • Awareness on planning and milestone activities and Involvement in facility handover requirements
  • Develop and issue final Hook-up construction work packs
  • Monitors scope changes and inputs to DTCMS
  • Ensures all engineering deliverables (drawings, materials, and procedures) are available for hook up execution
  • Identify and prepare discipline Hookup MTO and co-ordinate with fabrication team.
  • Prepares Hook up task sheets and reviews task sheets as appropriate
  • Efficient sequencing of HU activities & reviews Hook up schedules synchronizing with other disciplines
  • Enable resource forecast & manpower loadings
  • Manage the timely delivery of documentation, fabrication, materials, personnel and vendors aligned to Hook up schedule
  • Provides field guidance and ensures compliance with Company specification
  • Coordinate materials with load-out plans at yards & ship to offshore locations in optimum vessel sorties
  • Attends Coordination & progress review Meeting and reports Hook up progress on daily basis
  • Travel to different region facilities onshore/ offshore to assist project team and coordinate execution aligned to project schedule
  • Monitor and report implementation related changes and growth during the course of the project specifically related to HUC-B
  • Participate with HAZID discussion and asset incidents / hazards investigations and communicate findings to PMT and Senior HU Engineer
Qualifications:Essential Qualifications and Education:
  • 6+ years\' experience in related offshore engineering fields
  • Hookup execution exposure with Qatar Clients preferrable
  • Ability to develop robust Hook-up procedures and deliver aligned to Hook-up Plan
  • Ability to lead discipline detail planning sessions with all levels of the organization
  • Exhibit leadership skills within own discipline & provide assistance to trainee engineers/freshers
  • Interpersonal and Client liaison skills which create and sustain high-quality relationships
  • Demonstrate willingness to handle variety of tasks to support business needs
  • Familiarity with Offshore Codes & Standards
  • Follows company safety plans and procedures
