Job Title: Homologation Executive
Job Location : Dubai
Job type: 12 monthsScope of Work:

• On-time and complete receipt of the necessary type approval and evidence of compliance of self-certifications for the markets towards the responsible internal function.
• Complete and up-to-date overview of the current valid and prospective technical regulations (cars, motorcycles etc) including their production inspection regulations towards the Regional Office function responsible for this deliverable.

Service Deliverables:

• Earliest possible detection of new relevant technical regulations in cooperation with the local authorities
• Preparation of the new relevant technical regulations and communication towards the responsible internal function by using the relevant processes.
• Co-design of new regulations for the type approval and COP of complete vehicles in exchange with the central type approval department.
• Preparation and regular review of forecasts on future market-specific technical regulations.
• Participation in the interpretation and preparation of new market-specific technical regulations.
• Ensuring on-time and complete type approval for the total vehicle on the market.
• Assure completeness of the required documentation and application for type-approval for the total vehicle.
• Planning of the required type tests / certificates according to the homologation-planning.

Service Prerequisites:

• Competence to participate in the derivation and specification of requirements towards the responsible stakeholders and internal function.
• Competence to assign tasks for approval and testing procedures towards local and central functions.
• Competence to claim the on-time provision of required documents (data, design approvals, system approvals) to apply for type approval towards local and central functions.
• Competence to escalate in case of a possible non-fulfilment of the type approval request to the responsible internal function.
• Competence to set up rules and check punctually to make sure, that the orderings keep the homologation-limits.
• Engineering background will be a preference with 3-5 years of experience in Homologation within the Automotive industry, region middle east to be preferred.
